CANDANCE COMPETITION - APRIL 4-7

Please keep in mind when planning to attend all competitions that dancers are expected to be at the competition site no later than two hours before their scheduled dance, ready to go with hair and makeup done and/or touched up, in their costume, warmed up, ready to practice their routines. Dancers are not to be on stage for any awards unless they have their stage makeup on and their hair done; their competitive team jackets must be worn at all award ceremonies.
Please also keep in mind that attendance is mandatory two weeks leading up to all competitions and shows, it is incredibly important that all members of the team attend all classes as we prepare for competitions and showcases. We cannot fully prepare and practice for competitions if not all members are in attendance which is not fair to the dancers or their teammates. If you are not in class two weeks leading up to competitions and showcases, please be advised that your teacher may pull you from your routines.
PARKING - Deer Hurst Resort has plenty of free parking.
ENTRANCE TO BUILDING - Main Entrance at the front of the resort to check in with hotel reception.
The Main theatre stage is located in the LEGACY BALLROOM
All dressing rooms will open 1 hour before start time each day! Please leave the dressing rooms cleaner than what they were when you got there, do not leave anything at the venue in the dressing rooms over night.
Girls Dressing Room (across from main ballroom): WATERHOUSE BALLROOM 1-3
Warm-up & Rehearsal Space (across from main ballroom): WATERHOUSE BALLROOM 4-5
Please be advised the Diamond Dance Off scheduled for 4:30pm on Sunday April 7th is NOT optional, if any of our group routines get chosen to participate in the dance off all dancers in the group(s) chosen must be in attendance. Think of this event as an additional competition for dances that score high enough to be eligible to participate; dancers perform their dance again for top awards!
