Year-End Showcase Tickets
Below are the links to purchase tickets for our Year-End Showcase. There is no limit on how many tickets you may purchase however, it is reserved seating and spots are limited. Tickets will be advertised to the public starting Monday May 15th; we strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets before then to ensure you have all of the tickets you require.
*NEW THIS YEAR* ALL TICKET HOLDERS WILL GAIN ACCESS TO A DANCEBUG VIDEO RECORDING OF OUR SUNDAY PERFORMANCE.
Please note that one parent/guardian must remain with dancers who are 10 years old and younger at all times while they are backstage during the Year-End Showcase. If you would like to sit in the audience, you must purchase a ticket and have someone else watch your dancer backstage for that show.

Year-End Showcase Reminders
Our last week of classes is next week, May 20th to 26th with our Year-End Showcase taking place the following weekend, June 1st to 4th.
Please arrive to the Hanover Civic Theatre on June 1st for dress rehearsal no later than one hour before your scheduled dress rehearsal time with full dance makeup and hair done in a low slicked bun with a middle part.
The schedule for dress rehearsal can be found in the parent handbook. Please note the schedule of dress rehearsal is not the schedule or order of the show, please see the show order which can also be found in the parent handbook.
Please follow the signage posted at the Hanover Civic Theatre upon arrival to the correct change room for your dancers age group, change rooms will be a mixture of the Saugeen Room and the Community Centre.

Please arrive to the Hanover Civic Theatre no later than one hour before the beginning of each show (5pm on Friday June 2nd for a 6pm show start time and 1pm on Saturday June 3rd and Sunday June 4th for a 2pm show start time) with full dance makeup and hair done in a low slicked bun with a middle part.
There will be no finale so dancers are free to leave dress rehearsal and all shows after they have finished all of their dances. After the Sunday show has finished, we will have a short ceremony on stage, all dancers are welcome to come back on stage for this.
Friendly reminder that no dancers are to be in the audience in costume, dancers are allowed to watch the show if they are out of costume and have their own ticket. Dancers are not allowed to sit on the laps of parents to watch the show.
Please also remember that all dancers 10 years old and younger need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the show in the dressing rooms. If you wish to watch the show you must have someone else sit with your dancer during the show.
Costumes for all recreational classes will be at the Hanover Civic Theatre for dress rehearsal on Thursday, please leave your costumes at the theatre until the last show is finished, after the last show on Sunday, you are free to take them home!
Please only pack water and snacks that cannot stain your dancers' mouth, face, or costumes for your dancer to have during the dress rehearsal and all shows.
Please ensure all finger and toe nail polish and temporary tattoos are removed before the dress rehearsal and all shows.

Costume Care
Please take extra good care of your costumes, we want you and your costumes to look amazing on stage! Ensure your costumes are always transported in a garment bag, when at home have costumes hanging up at all times with the zipper of your garment bag open to allow for airflow in between competitions.
You should never wear your costumes outside of dance for dress up or play until after the season is finished.

Competition Reminders
A few friendly reminders as we prepare to attend competitions this season;
Attendance is mandatory two weeks leading up to all competitions and shows, it is incredibly important that all members of the team attend all classes as we prepare for competitions. We cannot fully prepare and practice for competitions if not all members are in attendance which is not fair to the dancers or their teammates. If you are not in class two weeks leading up to a competition, please be advised that your teacher may pull you from your routines.
Please arrive no later than two hours before your scheduled time to compete at the competition ready with hair and makeup done and costume on.
Please ensure your dancers are reminded to be mindful of all of their teammates during awards. Trophies, medals and ribbons should be distributed equally to all members of the routine and are taken care of properly. This means taking turns on who goes up to collect the awards, ensuring all members of the routine receive the ribbons, and awards are taken good care of and taken home safely, not left in dressing rooms or on the stage.
Please ensure your dancers always look clean and professional when on stage for awards, hair and makeup should be done or touched up, and competitive jackets should always be worn when on stage. Please wear clean, preferably black or white running shoes and no sweatpants. Preferably black leggings or black pants with your competitive jacket on stage.
Please remind your dancers that everyone is always watching at competitions, attitudes, mannerisms, and the way they treat their teammates and their parents at competition matter. When they're at competition they are not only representing themselves and your family but also the studio and their dance family.
